From the Altenheim's Administrator
Dear Friend,
I would like to personally welcome you to the Altenheim. Each day, I have the pleasure of visiting with families and residents who have made the Altenheim their home. We believe The Altenheim is one-of-a-kind because we are not part of a large chain or conglomerate, which means we can exclusively focus our attention on providing lovely surroundings and personal attention to the remarkable residents that we've come to know.
Helen, who just turned 102, reflects upon her life, the people she knew, her struggle through the Depression, and her family.
Bob, a retired attorney, who remembers cases that made history.
Herman and Violet, who celebrated their 75th wedding anniversary at the Altenheim.
It is an honor to care for and serve the residents who live at the Altenheim. We have so many interesting people with some incredible pasts and professions. I am always touched by the warmth of our residents’ smiles especially when they talk about their families and their memories.
We are also fortunate and grateful for having a wonderful, attentive staff that shares the same dedication and commitment to caring for our elderly.
That's why if someone asks me what matters most about the Altenheim, I simply say the people who live and work here. It’s the people who truly make the Altenheim one of the best and affordable senior living residences in The St. Louis Metropolitan area.
I would like to invite you to visit any time. Have lunch or dinner with us! We would love to show you around.
